LE SSERAFIM’s Easy, the group's third mini album released in February 2024, walks the audience through a new choreographic journey.
From the balletic elegance of Swan Song to the hip-hop grit of Easy and the Afropop fire of Smart, each track transforms sound into movement with striking originality. This mini-album is a great showcase of how K-pop can push performance art forward.
Swan Song- LE SSERAFIM

LE SSERAFIM’s Swan Song, released on February 19, 2024, is one of the five tracks on the girl group's 3rd extended album, Easy. The song’s folk-like composition, characterized by the repetition of simple melodies and tunes, creates a calm and healing atmosphere.
The choreography adopts a swim-inspired style and incorporates elements of ballet. It is highly rhythmic, complementing the song’s soft and calm vibe. Lighting, white rose props, and water effects accentuate the dance moves, giving them a swan-like, aquatic quality.
In contrast, the choreography and composition of Easy lean more toward a hip-hop style, exuding an energetic and cool vibe. Meanwhile, Smart features more prominent instrumentals and a faster tempo. Its sleek and sexy choreography perfectly matches the music, showcasing LE SSERAFIM’s signature feminine and charming dance style.
Easy - LE SSERAFIM
Easy is one of the songs from the same album, released on February 19, 2024. The song leans more towards a hip-hop style. The dance is generally fast-paced, with only the chorus section slowing down slightly.
The choreography incorporates hip-hop fundamentals mixed with K-pop elements. It thrives on isolations and sudden pauses, contrasting rapid footwork with a slowed-down chorus that highlights the group’s precision.
Smart - LE SSERAFIM

Smart by LE SSERAFIM is an energetic and rhythmically vibrant track that seamlessly blends pop and hip-hop sounds. The song is described as an Afro-pop-inspired Amapiano track, known for its fast-paced tempo and strong bassline. Its dynamic and high-energy sound has gained significant popularity for its catchy beats and uniqueness in the K-pop scene.
The choreography for Smart fuses hip-hop and street dance styles, characterized by quick footwork, sharp movements, and powerful gestures. A notable aspect of the dance is its viral hip-shaking move during the chorus, reminiscent of the one in Tyla’s Water. The choreography places a strong emphasis on rhythm and interactions among the dancers, which adds a fun and youthful energy to the performance. Since its release, the dance has gone viral and has been widely recreated by fans worldwide.
Smart stands out from the other choreographed pieces on LE SSERAFIM’s new album due to its rhythmic and confident tone, both musically and visually, solidifying it as a standout piece within the album.
